1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Worknesa ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

Worknesa is a marketplace connecting creatives (e.g. photographers, designers, videographers) with clients in Uganda. We provide the platform for discovery, messaging, bookings, and reviews. We are not a party to any agreement between creatives and clients; we do not employ creatives or guarantee the quality of work.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the platform. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your profile up to date.

4. Use of the platform

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Infringe the rights of others (e.g. intellectual property, privacy).
Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Worknesa staff.
Use the platform for fraud, spam, or misleading conduct.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other accounts.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

5. Bookings and payments

Bookings and any payments between creatives and clients are agreements between those parties. Worknesa may facilitate communication and record-keeping but is not responsible for the performance, quality, or payment of services. Any disputes about work or payment should be resolved between the creative and the client.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. profile information, project images). By uploading content, you grant Worknesa a licence to use, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the platform. You must not upload content you do not have the right to use. We may remove content that violates these terms or our policies.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worknesa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any dealings between users.
